Watermelon radish, sometimes called Red Meat Radish, is really a large, round, Japanese, white-skinned radish with dark green shoulders and bright pink/red flesh.
Watermelon radish grows to be 3¼" in diameter and is best harvested in fall or winter. When cut top to bottom, each slice resembles a Valentine. Several of our customers market it by this name - what a hit for February. Approx. 60 days.
